Infertility affects a great number of couples, and often these couples are unaware.

So when should you visit a fertility clinic?

How Long Have You Been Trying to Conceive?
Usually, one of the first questions a fertility clinic will ask is how long you’ve been attempting to conceive. Doctors typically advise fertility help after 18 to 24 months of trying, provided the woman is under 35. If the woman is over 35, then seek the help of a fertility clinic after just 6 months.

Your OB/GYN or Doctor Advises Fertility Help
Generally, your OB/GYN or doctor will be the first to diagnose fertility problems, such as endometriosis, low sperm motility, or polycystic ovary syndrome. You should consider setting an appointment at a fertility clinic if your doctor or OB/GYN discovers a medical problem that will cause problems conceiving.

Looking for Advice?
If you are looking for fertility advice, then a fertility clinic is a great place to get it. They can provide expert advice about changes you can make in your routine and lifestyle, as well as suggestions for how and when to maximize your chances of success.

Fertility clinics shouldn’t be a place to be afraid of. Fertility doctors are experts at helping couples through their difficulty conceiving, and while you shouldn’t stress at the first sign of trouble, knowing some of the reasons to visit a fertility clinic can make the process much easier.
